Mother’s Day Makeovers!!

Today at Ergün Tercan European Salon, Ergün and his team of 25 specialists pampered a group of 40 Moms from the Denver Children’s Advocacy Center! Check out the story here. One of the salon’s values is “Giving Back” and Ergün takes this very seriously. So, once again, this Mother’s Day, Ergün and his team volunteered their time and talents to a group of 40 women, providing them with hair cuts, color, highlights, make-up, massages, food and champagne. These women, who are not used to being taken care of in this manner, were completely spoiled with their every need. Ergün enjoys involving his team in events that give back to the community. One mom said, “For me, with five children, pampering myself is the last thing on my mind.” Ergün’s team aims to make these women feel good about themselves and today, it seems they did exactly that.

Nuggets Fight Back

Last night, the Nuggets made the series with the L.A. Lakers an exciting one. Bringing the series to 2-1, the Nuggets are back in it. And did you see the Nuggets Dancers? They looked fabulous, didn’t they? Thanks to the stylists at Ergün Tercan European Salon, the girls always look their best. In case you missed the Denver Nuggets this year and their fabulous dancers, be sure to grab a ticket to the first round of the NBA Playoffs for 2012 as the Nuggets battle the Lakers. At each home game, our stylists visit the Pepsi Center to get the Nuggets Dancers ready to go on camera…from make-up to hair and everything in between, they are always looking top notch when they hit the gym floor! Developing Education

At Ergün Tercan European Salon, you may have heard us say before how important the continuing education of our stylists is. We continue to uphold that value and promise to you, our clients, by constantly feeding our stylists’ bank of knowledge. Earlier this month, we had a Bumble & Bumble representative in, educating our stylists on new treatments and the details surrounding them. We also had a Wella Train the Trainer class for our stylists who are at the level where they are ready to pass their vast amounts of knowledge onto other, upcoming stylists. We will never stop learning. Did you see the game last night? Our own Denver Nuggets beat the Houston Rockets by a narrow margin of only three points. You might say, “What does this have to do with my Salon?” Well, the Ergün Tercan European Salon has stylists that go to every Denver Home Game to do the hair and make-up of our very own Denver Nuggets Dancers. And your next chance to see them will be tomorrow night at 7:00pm in the Pepsi center againt the L.A. Clippers. It’s a big game, so come on out and support your Denver Nuggets, along with your salon and the Denver Nuggets Dancers. David K Space is Coming Back

David K Space liked the Ergün Tercan European Salon so much that he is coming back around again. This trip will be the end of the month and David will, once again, be helping us to perfect our new education courses. We are revamping our entire education program and we look forward to bringing in more and more stylists and training them in the way of the Ergün Tercan European Salon. We are looking forward to his visit!

This morning, Bumble & Bumble will be coming into the salon for product and technique training. In addition, this afternoon, we will be having a Wella Train the Trainer Class at the salon, as well. Our stylists are moving on to being educators and we are giving them all of the education that we can.
